SPONTANY

Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 18, 2026

Spontany ("we", "us") is a mobile app that helps you discover nightlife — venues, events, and people going out around you. This policy explains what data we collect, why, and what control you have over it.

Information we collect

How we use it

We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use it for third-party advertising.

Who we share it with

Only service providers that run Spontany's infrastructure, bound to process data on our behalf: Supabase (database, authentication, storage), Sentry (crash reporting), RevenueCat (subscription management), Expo (push notifications), Mapbox (maps), and Google/Apple (sign-in). Other users see only what you choose to share — your profile, your visibility on the map, and messages you send.

Data retention & deletion

Your data is kept while your account is active. You can permanently delete your account at any time in the app: Profile → Delete Account. This erases your profile, connections, messages, media, and activity. You can also request deletion at spontanyapp.com/delete-account.

Security

Data is encrypted in transit, stored with access controls, and protected by row-level security so users can only reach their own data.

Age

Spontany is for adults. The app is not directed at anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect data from minors.

Changes

If we change this policy, we'll update this page and the date above. Significant changes will be announced in the app.
